Mayor of Bracknell's RNLI Christmas Card
|
Ahoy there! - Cllr Bob Wade, Mayor of Bracknell Forest made a special visit to the Windsor Contemporary Art Fair recently, to visit my ‘Windsor themed’ exhibits. The Mayor wanted to say thanks for the wonderful Christmas card I designed for him, to help raise funds for the RNLI Bembridge lifeboat station appeal. The Christmas card depicts Bob and his wife Maggie, an artists impression of the new lifeboat station and the Bembridge Coxswain as Father Christmas. I was formally invited to present the framed original cartoon to the Mayor, on 25th November at the Bracknell Council meeting, where the Mayor kindly awarded me his certificate of recognition of great work, dedication and industry.
